A New Beginning

January 11, 2026

Starting over in a new country is both exciting and unsettling. It asks you to let go of familiarity and step into uncertainty with curiosity and courage. For me, this new chapter began when I decided to study Graphic Design in California.

My professional background is rooted in digital design and user experience. I spent years working on complex systems, large-scale portals, and design frameworks for international companies. The work was demanding, structured, and deeply analytical. Over time, however, I realized that I was moving further away from the creative impulse that first drew me to design.

Choosing to return to school was not a step backward, but a deliberate shift. Studying graphic design here allows me to slow down, explore fundamentals, and reconnect with visual thinking, material experimentation, and personal expression. Being in a new country amplifies this process—everything feels unfamiliar, and that openness creates space for learning.

This blog will document my journey as a student and artist: the challenges of starting fresh, the discoveries made through study and practice, and the gradual shaping of a new creative direction. It is a place to reflect, to experiment, and to share growth in progress.

This is the beginning of something new.
